1. Agreement to Terms
By using the SmartScrub website or booking any of our cleaning services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services
SmartScrub provides professional cleaning services as described on our website, including domestic cleaning, deep cleaning, commercial cleaning, end-of-tenancy cleaning, carpet cleaning, oven cleaning, and Airbnb/holiday let cleaning. The specific scope of each cleaning service will be agreed with you at the time of booking. SmartScrub reserves the right to modify or discontinue any service with reasonable notice.
3. Booking & Scheduling
Bookings can be made by phone, email, or via the contact form on our website. Once your booking request is received, we will contact you to confirm the details, date, time, and price. A booking is confirmed only when you receive written or verbal confirmation from SmartScrub. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
4. Cancellation Policy
We understand that circumstances change. However, to allow us to manage our team effectively:
- Cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice will not incur any charge.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the agreed service cost.
- SmartScrub reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances such as staff illness or adverse weather conditions. We will provide as much notice as possible and offer the earliest available alternative.
5. Pricing & Payment
- All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- Prices are subject to change. Any changes will be communicated to you before they take effect on your booking.
- Payment terms will be agreed at the time of booking. We accept payment by bank transfer, card, and cash as agreed.
- For regular cleaning services, payment is due within 7 days of the service being completed unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Access & Preparation
- You are responsible for providing our cleaning staff with safe, unobstructed access to the property at the agreed time.
- Please secure or remove any valuables, fragile items, or irreplaceable objects prior to our arrival. SmartScrub accepts no liability for damage to items that were not appropriately secured.
- Our staff must be able to work in a safe environment. We reserve the right to refuse or suspend a clean if working conditions are deemed unsafe.
- Please ensure that cleaning supplies and water are accessible where required for the service.
7. Liability
- SmartScrub is fully insured for public liability and employer's liability.
- In the unlikely event that damage is caused by the negligence of our staff, our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided for that visit.
- SmartScrub is not liable for any pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or items damaged as a result of their inherent fragility.
- Claims for damage must be reported to us in writing within 24 hours of the service being completed.
8. Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with the standard of our cleaning, please contact us within 24 hours of the service. We will arrange a return visit to address any areas of concern at no additional charge. This guarantee is subject to us being given access to the property within a reasonable timeframe.
9. Data Protection
SmartScrub handles your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in compliance with UK GDPR. By booking our services, you consent to us holding and using your contact information to provide and administer your cleaning services.
10. Changes to These Terms
SmartScrub may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services or website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law
